Nobody asks me for Wonderwall.
I enjoy older music, probably because I’m older, but I’m flexible as long as it’s a bit retro. I’m even willing to consider country music, which shows real bravery. But not jazz, that’s a step too far.
I’m not looking to gig three times a week, I quite like having evenings where I don’t have to load gear into the car.
If you hung up your instrument years ago but now feel that familiar itch, the “maybe I’ve got one more go left in me” feeling, this could be ideal. Dust off the guitar, polish the cymbals, locate the keyboard power supply and see where it goes.
If you fancy a no‑pressure jam and possibly forming a band that may or may not become the next local sensation, give me a shout. Worst case: we have a laugh making a terrible noise and can blame it on our age.
P.S.
Also open to established bands who suddenly find themselves bass‑less due to drama, disappearance or out of control egos.
